Greetings!
Every day
before my New England College non-majors
biology class, I play a song relevant to that day’s lesson. I always start
class by asking my students the same 3 questions:
1.
What is the name of this song?
2.
Who is the artist?
3.
Why am I playing this song today?
The idea is to
liven up class and to force the students to think about what we will be
learning that day (sneaky, eh?). I’ve found that many other biology professors
are interested in playing music, so I am publishing my list of songs. If you
